Dishwasher - How to replace the inlet valve

Before any repair or maintenance operation, deactivate the appliance and disconnect the mains plug from the socket.

Before any repair or maintenance operation, turn off water supply to the appliance.

Make sure to use the product only for its designated purpose and verify that it is a compatible part for the intended product.

HOW TO REPLACE INLET VALVE

1. Isolate the water and unscrew to remove the inlet hose from the inlet valve.

2. Carefully tilt the dishwasher backwards (using a second person for assistance), push in the tabs for the plinth retaining clips then unhook plinth forward to remove.

3. Unscrew the PH2 screw on the front for the side panel. Unscrew the two PH2 screws for the top panel on the back of the lid.

4. Slide the top panel back and lift the lid to release.

5. Unscrew the two PH2 screws on the top of the side panel. Unscrew the three PH2 screws on the back of the side panel

6. Move the side panel to the left and then slide it forward to remove the side panel.

7. Angle to valve to release the two retaining clips and then twist the valve to release the valve into the dishwasher.

8. Carefully disconnect wiring connectors from the inlet hose spade. (Note: Take a photo of the wiring positioning/location before disconnecting) Be careful not to damage the connector.

9. Use pliers to release the jubilee clips for the internal inlet hose and pull off the inlet valve from the internal inlet hose. Note: This hose may hold some residual water.

10. When assembling, repeat steps in reverse order.
